On 3 September 2026, the Final International Conference of the Erasmus+ project GreenTeach - "Transforming Teaching for a Greener Planet" was successfully held in Burgas, Bulgaria.

Burgas Free University, the GreenTeach project coordinator, organised the event, and the Vocational High School of Mechanical Engineering and Electronics - Burgas, a GreenTeach project partner, hosted it.

The conference brought together VET representatives and educators from Bulgaria, Türkiye, Romania, and Italy to present key project results and share practical examples of integrating sustainability into vocational education.

During the event, VET educators who completed the GreenTeach training presented innovative classroom practices covering topics such as energy efficiency, smart technologies, waste reduction, sustainable tourism, biodiversity and environmentally responsible business models.

The event concluded with a certificate-awarding ceremony and a visit to the host school's laboratories, marking an inspiring final milestone in the GreenTeach partnership and its shared commitment to greener, more innovative, and sustainable VET.
