This is achieved by enhancing the skills of educators in the sector, aligned with the European framework, to prepare green and inclusive learning scenarios based on modern technologies and innovative pedagogy. The goal is to bridge the "green" skills gap for a sustainable future and address the need for a greener planet..
In particular, the project intends to reach the following results:
Analyze the current state of "green" and sustainable educational offerings in vocational training institutions and identify skill gaps among teachers, particularly in vocational education.
Develop a competency framework for education in the vocational training sector tailored to the green economy.
Design training curricula with learning objectives aimed at addressing identified skill gaps and create an online course with Open Educational Resources (OER).
Develop an e-learning platform to deliver the "GreenTeach" courses.
Conduct a pilot phase to test the e-learning platform and the "GreenTeach" online course with VET (Vocational Education and Training) educators.
Create an online catalog of courses based on the GreenTeach framework.
Collect best practices from the pilot phase for further refinement.
